I hate grocery shopping, and I am bad at it. I usually put it off as long as I can, and then it gets to a point where I have to go. There is nothing left to scrounge up for dinner, the cupboards are empty.
I make my list, and grudgingly go off to Meijer. This has become a Tuesday night event for me, about every other week. So with my list in hand, I enter the store hoping to make it out in one piece and not spend to much money.
As I wander up and down the aisle filling up my cart getting crabbier and crabbier as the time goes on becuase grocery shopping takes forever. by the time I get home, and put everything away, i am spent. there is nothing more i can do for me or anyone else.
Last night, I cried when I got home. Yeah, I cried because I hate grocery shopping. I buy and buy and buy, and think i have things planned out for dinners, but the cupboards still look empty or full of junk. I guess I shouldn't buy junk, but I don't know what else to buy.
I must become more organized in my shopping ways. I also need to stop going to Meijer and go someplace that doesn't offer lots of junk options.
Horrocks will now by my grocer of choice, and a running grocery list will be kept on my fridge.
Also, I am a new member of Sams Club so I will shop in bulk there.
okay rambling over. I think i have enough groceries now to last until the week of the 15th. (hopefully)

I'm hungry, Whats for dinner?
Hey do you enjoy doing laundry? If you do...you can do my laundry and I can do the grocery shopping for you! I love grocery shopping but I can't stand doing laundry!
That sounds so painful! I am all for having someone do the grocery shopping for you. I actually just started a small business where I send people a weekly box with a suggested meal plan, recipes, and groceries, so all they have to do is cook! Sometimes there are perishables that I can't send, but it's still so much easier to go buy eggs than to go buy everything you will need for several weeks at a time. you should check it out!
