my life...

so i have decided my life really is not all that exciting, therefore I have not blogged in about a month. That and I haven't uploaded pictures from my camera in a while. I don't know why, but I feel as if I cannot blog if I don't have a picture to go along with it. I may need to get over that soon.

Well in the past month here are the things that happened that I meant to blog about (listed in chronological order):

Halloween: Matt and I and Amy went out for dinner and avoided all trick-or-treaters it was fantastic. Plus Matt took us to Roses which is always amazing.

Ohio State Football: Matt, Sam and I headed down to Ohio for the Ohio State v. Wisconsin game. We had a great time, Ohio State pulled through in the 3rd and 4th quarter, and won by 3 touchdowns. Then we watched the Michigan v Michigan State Game in which Michigan pulled out the win which made Sam happy.

Tenants: Our non-rent paying tenants moved out. We cleaned. and cleaned. and cleaned. They left the house a disaster with buggers (ICK!) on the walls and mold in the ceilings. With out the help of our dear friends: Sam, Michele, Heather, Aaron, and Rachel the cleaning would have lasted months. Painting needs to be done on every wall in the house!

ENGAGED!: Aaron popped the big question to Heather (finally - according to her) :) so we went out and celebrated with a lot of friends at Mangiamos which is always a great place to be. And the next day heather and leanne and heather's mama went dress shopping! Heather is going to be a BEA-U-TI-FULL Bride.

Baby Shower: My mom and I went to a baby shower for Matt and Amy and Micah! It was a lot of fun and I won a prize.

Rosie Thomas: Amazing. funny. great. lovely. these are the words i like to use to describe a Rosie Thomas concert. We went on a double date with Kristy and Jon, Dinner at Mangiamo's, concert, and drinks. it was fantastic. (oh and I have a huge girl-crush on Rosie. I am pretty sure if she knew me we would be like best friends.)

Ohio State Football: Ohio State, once again, beat Michigan in their big match up. 14-3. It was great, even though the game was a little slow, I am happy with the outcome. We were able to enjoy the game on an big screen with our wonderful PYG group.

Friends: We had a much needed hang out time with Mike and Lanae, Rachy and Heather. It was great to just hang out with old friends again after to much time apart. We did however miss the rest of that gang, Jeff and Leanne, Reilly and Mr. Snippe.

And now we are to present time.

Thanksgiving is only 2 days away! I can't wait.

i. love. thanksgiving. (unnecessary periods added for extra emphasis)

It is by far my favorite holiday as it is filled with so many family traditions and some good quaility family time. I love getting together with my exteneded family - trying to cram 35 people into a dinning room made for 20 - taking 3 hours (okay maybe 1 hour) saying what we are thankful for - getting mom and dads house decorated for Christmas - and especially being able to start listening to Christmas music on Friday!

Enjoy your holiday weekend!
