Then we went to Uncle Steve and Aunt Sue's house for Wine Time, which has been a Thanksgiving day tradition for many years now. Wine Time was complete with my favorite Turkey Sugar Cookies, made especially for me :)
After Wine Time we went to Mom and Dad's house. We watched the Lions game, took a nap and planned out our game plan for a little Black Friday Shopping.We then went to Uncle Jon and Aunt Leesa's house who once again graciously opened their house up to hosting Thanksgiving Day dinner. It was a smaller group this year, only 27 of us. Again, we went around the table and said what we were thankful for, and it was great to hear out loud all the blessings God has given us every day. We had a great time hanging out with family and catching up.
Friday Mom and Amy and I scored some excellent deals. It was well worth getting to Target at 6:10. It was mine and Amy 's first experience with the early morning Black Friday crowds.
While we were shopping, the boys were fishing. Once again, they took home the trophy.
